Battle of the Books

The Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for students in grades 4-12. The purpose is to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with their peers. The Battle of the Books is a single-day event where students will compete by answering questions about the books on the official Battle Booklist.

The 2016 Battle of the Books competition will be held on Saturday, February 6 at Yorba Linda High School (exact check-in times will be emailed to Battle participants closer to the date).  The 2016 Booklist for all divisions is now available here.  Sign-up for Battle of the Books through Saturday, November 14, 2015.  Click here for Battle Guidelines.

Sign-ups are limited to Yorba Linda residents, Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District students, or students attending schools within the city of Yorba Linda.  Sign-ups will only be accepted at the Yorba Linda Public Library.  Students and/or their parents must sign themselves up.  Friends may not sign-up one another.
